Direct flights to Russia to be resumed after all captured territories returned to Ukraine – Omelian

Direct flights between Ukraine and the Russian Federation will be resumed only after return of all Ukrainian territories captured by the Russian Federation.
Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelian said this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
"I think that we will resume direct flights to Russia only after return of Crimea, eastern Ukraine, as well as Kuban and other Ukrainian territories that were seized by Russia back then," Omelian said.
According to him, Ukraine will also sue Russia demanding a penalty from Russian airlines flying to the occupied peninsula.
"The Infrastructure Ministry and the State Air Service did everything possible and impossible for this. We won all possible lawsuits. Now the Justice Ministry has to file a general lawsuit against the aggressor state of Russia," Omelian summed up.
