Alitalia returns to Ukrainian market after two-year absence

The largest Italian airline company Alitalia has returned to the Ukrainian market and resumed regular flights.

The first flight operated by Alitalia was accepted at Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) on May 2, 2017, as reported by Delo publication.

Alitalia will be operating daily flights with an overnight stay in Kyiv until October 27, 2017 with departure from Rome Fiumicino Airport at 11:00 p.m. and return departure from Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) at 5:00 a.m. The flight duration is about 3 hours. Alitalia's flights will be operated by Airbus A320 aircrafts.

A reminder that Alitalia suspended Kyiv-Rome flights in 2014.
