IMF forecasts Ukraine’s GDP growth at 3.2% in 2018

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects Ukraine’s GDP growth at the level of 2% in 2017 and its significant increase up to 3.2% in 2018, according to the World Economic Outlook released by the IMF on Tuesday.

Ukraine was included in the group of energy importers in Europe, for which the average GDP growth is projected at 1.6% in 2017 and 2.7% in 2018.

According to World Economic Outlook, the index of consumer prices in Ukraine is projected at 11.5% in 2017 and at 9.5% in 2018.

At the same time, the balance of current accounts is expected at -3.6 % in 2017 and at -2.9 % in 2018.

The unemployment rate is projected at 9% in 2017 and at 8.7% in 2018.
