Lviv International Airport sees a 52% rise in passenger flow in Q1 2017

Lviv International Airport in January-March 2017 saw an increase in passenger flow by 51.5%, compared with the same period last year, according to a report posted on the airport’s official Facebook page.

“Lviv Danylo Halytskyi International Airport recorded a 51.5% increase in passenger flow in the first quarter of 2017,” reads a report.

In particular, over the first three months of 2017, 162.7 thousand passengers used air services to/from Lviv, which is by 51.5% more compared with the same period last year (107.4 thousand passengers).

Also, in January-March 2017, the number of passengers served on international flights totaled 128.8 thousand (79%), on domestic flights – 33.9 thousand (21%).

In January-March 2017, the number of flights totaled 2,129 (1,668 international and 461 domestic flights), which is by 35.6% more compared with the previous year (1,570).
