PJSC Ukrtelecom stopped rendering services in a temporary occupied part of Luhansk region, as the company lost operational control of its telecommunication network, the Ukrtelecom website reports.

“Telephone communication services and access to the Internet are not provided in the uncontrolled territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions because of the loss of operational control of the telecommunication network," reads a report.

As earlier reported, on March 1, 2017, Ukrtelecom was forced to terminate all telecoms services in a non-government controlled part of Donetsk region because of “the interference by unidentified persons in the network and seizure of the office by armed persons.”
