IMF to consider allocation of next tranche to Ukraine on April 3

The meeting of the IMF Executive Board to consider the allocation of a $1 billion tranche to Ukraine is scheduled for April 3.

This was stated by IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine Jerome Vacher, Ukrinform learnt from the press service of the IMF Resident Representative Office in Ukraine.

"The IMF Executive Board is to consider the third review under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program, as well as the results of the consultations held in 2016 on Article IV of the IMF's Articles of Agreement at its meeting, scheduled for April 3, 2017," he said.

According to Vacher, the completion of the third review will allow Ukraine to get a $1 billion tranche.
