The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine expects that within several months a financial investigation service will be created in Ukraine to replace some agencies that investigate economic crimes.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman stated this during Government Question Hour meeting held in Parliament today, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"The economic service of police, the economic service of SBU [the Security Service of Ukraine] should be liquidated; we should complete the liquidation of the tax police and create a single, professional and efficient financial investigation service that will replace these services. I hope we coordinate and settle these issues within several months," Groysman said.

He reminded that Government sent a draft law on the financial investigation service to the Council of Reforms for further discussion.
