President considers Ukraine’s cooperation with EBRD, EIB fruitful

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said this at the Regional Development Council meeting in Kyiv on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

 "We have agreed that today an opportunity appears to dramatically increase the scope of cooperation between the territorial communities and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank,” the President said.

Poroshenko added he was pleased with the noticeable development in the Ukrainian cities. For example, the construction of the subway began in Dnipro city, which had been frozen for a long time. In addition, the construction of a subway station, which the residents had been expecting for more than 20 years, was completed in Kharkiv. These projects are being implemented thanks to cooperation and raising funds from the international financial organizations, the Head of State stressed.
