Privatization of state-owned enterprises possible only under state control – Groysman

In Ukraine, there are 3,500 state-owned enterprises and many of them are unprofitable because of inefficient management, but they can be privatized only under state control.
Ukraine's Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said this during a briefing at PJSC “FED" Kharkiv Machine Building Plant, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Such companies can be sold only under state control and at public auction according to ProZorro system principles," Groysman said.
According to him, the state is also against the loss of control over such strategic enterprises as JSC "Turboatom".
Responding to the question of the Ukrinform correspondent what specific companies can be already sold, Groysman has called State Enterprise "Ukrspyrt, adding that anyone can come and buy it except for the aggressor state.
