NBU: Ukraine’s international reserves decreased by $94 mln

As of February 1, 2017, Ukraine’s international reserves totaled $15.445 billion, having decreased by $94 million over the last month, the press service of the National Bank of Ukraine reports. 

“Ukraine’s international reserves on February 1, 2017 amounted to the equivalent of $15, 445.0 million, according to preliminary data,” reads a report.

The National Bank noted that in connection with temporary seasonal factors in the interbank foreign exchange market, as well as the need to carry out payments on the state debt, international reserves over the last month decreased by 0.6%.

As a reminder, Ukraine’s international reserves on January 1, 2017 amounted to the equivalent of $15 billion 539 million, according to preliminary data.
