Ukraine made significant progress in reform implementation, fight against corruption – Brok

The European Parliament has welcomed the reform process in Ukraine that was carried out last year.

Chairman of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs Elmar Brok said this at a meeting of the European Parliament Delegation at the Committee of the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Association in Brussels on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reproted.

"Firstly, I must say that positive developments were held in Ukraine during the past six months. I speak about judicial reform, fight against corruption, electronic declaration. We see a significant progress," the MEP said.

At the same time, he has noted that at the present time these reforms should be extended.

Brok has also noted that this year Ukraine has to improve a macro-financial situation.
