Ukraine already exported grain by almost 1.5 mln tons more than last year - Agrarian Policy Ministry

Since the beginning of 2016/2017 marketing year Ukraine has exported 23.72 million tons of grain that is by 1.5 million tons more than the year before.
This has been reported by the press service of the Agrarian Policy Ministry.
"As of January 6, since the beginning of 2016/2017 marketing year Ukraine exported 23.72 million tons of grain that is by 1.5 million tons more than in the same previous period," reads a statement.
Given the fact that the need for internal use amounts to 23.5 million tons of grain the export potential remains at the level of 40.2 million tons, which is already used by 57%.
