Production of milk for baby food increased by 52% in Ukraine last year

Production of milk and cream for baby food increased by 52% during the first 11 months of 2016 compared with the corresponding period of 2015. The increase was reasoned by the promotion of baby food production and development of the draft law on baby food.
This is reported by the press service of the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine.
"In order to simplify the conditions for doing business in baby food production sector, the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry developed the draft law on baby food in 2016. The simplified conditions will in no way cause the deterioration of the products’ quality as the bill is fully in line with the legislation on safety and food quality indicators," Agrarian Policy and Food Minister of Ukraine Taras Kutovyi noted.
