The Government of Ukraine expects that economic growth will amount to about 3% in 2017.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this in an exclusive interview to Ukrinform.

"We were engaged in a dialogue with the expert community and the Ukrainian Parliament for more than three months. The Government submitted quite a balanced budget for 2017. The budget is very structured and has clearly defined priorities. It provides for raising the minimum wage up to UAH 3,200, raising salary of teachers by 50% and salary of doctors by 30 % in 2017. We have maintained the system of decentralization and support for the agricultural complex, mechanical engineering, and large-scale construction of roads. We expect the economic growth to amount to about 3%," Groysman said.
