PM Groysman: ProZorro system saves UAH 8 bn of budget funds this year

ProZorro system of electronic public procurement has saved UAH 8 billion of state budget funds in 2016.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said this, speaking to the students of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"We have saved UAH 8 billion this year. We have not lost these budget funds because we destroyed the manifestations of corruption in this system. This solution allowed us to create the competitive environment and start to save resources of the state budget," he said.
The Prime Minister reminded that a completely new model of public procurement was introduced in Ukraine on August 1, 2016.
