Ukraine is interested in increasing imports of coffee, tea, exotic fruits and nuts from Kenya, and Kenya, in turn, is interested in supplies of Ukrainian grain, flour, apples, juice concentrates, seeds and feeds for poultry and fish farming.

These issues were discussed during an official visit of the Ukrainian delegation headed by Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister, Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska, Deputy Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry Olha Trofimtseva to the Republic of Kenya, the government's official website reports.

"The sides expressed mutual interest in the export/import of products: Kenyans expressed interest in the import of Ukrainian grain, flour, apples, juice concentrates, seeds and feeds for poultry and fish farming, and Ukraine, in turn, is interested in the increase in imports of coffee, tea, exotic fruits, such nuts as macadamia, and cut flowers from Kenya. Representatives of the Ukrainian delegation got acquainted with the work of a laboratory at KEPHIS,” reads a report.

Also, during the meeting, representatives of the Ukrainian delegation together with specialists of Dairy Veterinary Services (DVS) discussed the issue of potential export of animal products from Ukraine to Kenya.
