Naftogaz purchased 1.8 bcm of natural gas from six European companies in August-October 2016

In August-October 2016, NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine purchased 1.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Axpo Trading AG, CEZ, a.s., Engie SA, Eni Trading & Shipping S.p.A., RWE Supply & Trading GmbH and Uniper Global Commodities SE within the second round of disbursement of revolving credit facility funds from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), according to the PR Department of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
All six suppliers were selected by the EBRD prequalification procedure concluded in July 2016.
The total cost of 30 concluded contracts amounted to $334 million, of which $300 million were received through the credit facility and $34 million - own funds of Naftogaz.
The weighted average price of contracts totaled $185 per a thousand cubic meter at delivery point.
