Ukrenergo to attract EUR 1.5 bln in investments in adaptation with ENTSO-E

SE NPC "Ukrenergo" national power energy provider has presented a portfolio of investment projects worth about EUR 1.5 billion, aimed at full automation of power systems and modernization of existing substations. This will speed up the adaptation with ENTSO-E, the European Network of Transmission System Operators.
This is reported by the Ukrenergo press service.
"A new portfolio of investment projects worth about EUR 1.5 billion, aimed at full automation of power systems and modernization of existing substations, was presented," the statement reads.
As noted by Ukrenergo’s acting director Vsevolod Kovalchuk, full adaptation with ENTSO-E will be possible in 5-7 years.
