Ukraine's Foreign Affairs Ministry, Economy Ministry to create trade representative offices to assist small and medium enterprises

The Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Ministry and the Economic Development and Trade Ministry are expected to create trade representative offices to provide assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises in entering foreign markets.

Deputy Head of the Exporters and Investors Council under the Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Ministry Oleksandr Danyleiko has stated this at the conference dedicated to the entry of Ukrainian food products into the Chinese market, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Currently, in cooperation with the Economic Development and Trade Ministry, we consider the possibility of creating trade representative offices based on an absolutely new model. These representative offices are expected to provide real assistance, especially to small and medium-sized businesses,” Danyleiko said.

According to him, Ukrainian ambassadors held a meeting in late August and were instructed by the leadership of the state to work for the benefit of the Ukrainian business and the promotion of Ukraine's interests abroad.
