Outcome of IMF mission in Ukraine might be softening or adjustment of conditions for next tranche - expert

This opinion was expressed by the chief financial analyst of RA "Expert Rating" Vitaly Shapran in his comments to UKRINFORM.

"I think that before the end of the year the tranche should not be expected. There are too many conditions under discussion that depend on the Parliament rather than the Government or the NBU. One of the results of the mission might be softening or adjustment of certain conditions for the next tranche," he said.

It should be noted that today, November 3, the IMF mission arrives in Ukraine. They will stay for two weeks. 

Previously it was planned that the IMF mission would arrive in Ukraine on October 26 within the framework of the regular review of the reform program, approved in March of last year.

Let us remind that on September 14 the IMF made a decision to allocate to Ukraine the third tranche of $ 1 billion within the EFF program.

Initially it was assumed that the third tranche will amount to $1.7 billion, and it was expected to be delivered to the country is 2015, but as Ukraine failed to fulfill all the conditions, the Fund reduced the amount of tranche to 1 billion.
