Canadian minister: Free trade between Canada and Ukraine favorable for both countries

Canada’s Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labor MaryAnn Mihychuk says that the Free Trade Agreement between Canada and Ukraine will enhance commercial relations between entrepreneurs of the both countries.
“The agreement will improve our business relations. In practical terms, it will create opportunities for entrepreneurs from Canada and Ukraine to cooperate more actively and will promote economic development of both countries,” Mihychuk said.
According to the Canadian minister, the agreement with Ukraine for the first time envisages a part on labor rights. In particular, the agreement guarantees a certain level of labor standards, the elimination of children labor etc.
“This agreement is an example for our next trade agreements,” the minister said.
