Ukraine to hold consultations in WTO regarding transit restrictions imposed by Russia

November 10, Ukraine will hold consultations regarding Russia’s restrictions on transit to Central Asia countries within the framework of the World Trade Organization.

Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine, Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska said this at today’s press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We have filed inquiry with the WTO related to railroad cars and railway equipment. The second inquiry relates to transit restrictions. It will be discussed with the Russian Federation on November 10. The third inquiry, which we are preparing now, concerns Russia’s restrictions on imports of some food products originating in Ukraine," she said.
