International Investment Business Forum on Energy Efficiency to be held in Kyiv on November 1-2

Ukraine’s State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving, the organizer of the event, states that “the International Investment Business Forum will help unite efforts of the government and business, international donors and experts and solve current problems in the sphere of energy efficiency and renewable energy”.

According to Chairman of the Agency Serhiy Savchuk, the legislative basis is being improved and favorable conditions for business are being created.

“Strategic national action plans on energy efficiency and renewable energy up to 2020 have been approved. Investment potential of the renewable energy market totals about 16 billion euros until 2020, while the potential of the energy efficiency sphere - about35 billion euros,” Savchuk noted.
