The Cabinet of Ministers is developing a plan on carrying out pension reform and will inform Ukrainian citizens about the results as soon as there are certain proposals.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman stated this in his LIVE-address to Ukrainians, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Pension [reform] is among our priorities. We are working on this issue and as soon as there is a balanced solution, we’ll immediately inform our citizens about this. I’d like to stress that the minimum pension will rise by 10% from December 1. If you ask me whether it is enough, then - no, it’s not enough, but these are first steps,” Groysman said.

The prime minister also stressed that the pension reform should be up to date and that he is ready to take decisive steps until there is serious economic growth and people receive worthy salaries and pensions.
