Ukraine, EIB to sign agreement to finance public passenger transport development project

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has empowered Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelian to sign an agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB), related to financing the public passenger transport development project in cities.
This is reported by an Ukrinform correspondent upon the results of a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
“The public passenger transport development project in Ukrainian cities allows for rendering high-quality transport services by buses, trams, trolleybuses and underground railway systems for the general public, including people with disabilities,” Omelian said.
The project also provides for considerable investments in urban infrastructure.
