Investments in the Ukrainian economy have grown by $2.5 billion in contrast to last year, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has stated at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Investment raising has increased by $2.5 billion, which is 19% higher in contrast to last year. The investment process should be speeded up, and the Government's efforts are focused on this issue,” Groysman said.
According to him, every family should see a rise in jobs and salaries.
“We can reinvest in living standards through the development of national economy. We have certain signs of economic growth. The volume of industrial production increased by 2% after an 11.9% rise in construction production index. Inflationary tendencies slowed down to 6.4%. Nominal salary rose by 24% to UAH 4,944. We have positive signals, but every Ukrainian family should experience them,” Groysman said.
