The Ukrainian government intends to revive the sports infrastructure in the country and has foreseen for this sector UAH 300 million in the draft 2017 national budget.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said this during Government Question Hour meeting held in Parliament today, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We want to develop the sports infrastructure. This fully meets our plans and this is envisaged in the draft 2017 budget. That’s why, within the framework of the State Fund for Regional Development, Government has allocated UAH 300 million that will be spent for the sports infrastructure revival under the condition of local co-financing,” the prime minister said.

According to him, now it’s time for Ukraine to restore stadiums and sport playgrounds
