Sanctions amounting to almost UAH 6.5 mln imposed on stock market participants

The Securities and Stock Market State Commission (SSMSC) have imposed sanctions amounting to UAH 6.497 million on professional stock market participants in 2016, the commission’s press service reports.
“Since the beginning of this year, as of September 16,2016: 419 financial sanctions amounting to UAH 6,497,607 were imposed for the violation of legislation in the securities market," reads a statement.
The SSMSC also noted that as of September 16, 2016, 77 notices were issued, 29 licenses were revoked, and two licenses were suspended.
