Ukraine's sugar plants produce 94,000 tonnes of sugar since season start

As of September 15, 2016, Ukrainian sugar plants produced 94 thousand tonnes of sugar, Ukrtsukor National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine reports.
Currently, 21 sugar plants are running in Vinnytsia, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Lviv, Poltava, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi and Cherkasy regions.
Ukraine's sugar production output reached 93.8 thousand tonnes on September 14, 2016.
A total of 736.3 thousand tonnes of sugar beets have been processed since the beginning of the season. In particular, 81.6 thousand tonnes of sugar beets were processed and 11.6 thousand tonnes of sugar was produced over the past day.
