Ukraine’s GDP grows by 1.3% in 2nd quarter – Economy Minister

The GDP growth in the second quarter of this year was 1.3%, whereas it amounted to 0.1% in the first quarter. 

First Vice Prime Minister, Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv said this at the Cabinet’s meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We saw the growth of GDP by 0.1% in the first quarter of 2016 for the first time after a longtime negative dynamics and changes in GDP. It is a slight growth, but it is a signal that tells about a certain standard that we have expected. We saw the growth of GDP by 1.3% already in the second quarter," he said.
