Banks' debt to NBU decreased by a quarter

The total debt of banks on refinancing credits issued by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in January-August 2016 reduced by UAH 25 billion to UAH 74.35 billion, the NBU press service reports.
“The debt of banks on refinancing credits issued by the National Bank of Ukraine over eighth months of 2016 decreased by UAH 25 billion (-25.2%) to UAH 74.35 billion. Thus, the volume of debt is lower than the rate as of January 1, 2014 (UAH 76.12 billion),” reads a report.
