The dynamics of industrial production in Ukraine will improve in the coming months due to the increase in the output of food products, particularly sugar, although a growing comparative base in other fields will restrain growth.
Such a forecast was given by chief economist at Dragon Capital Olena Belan in a commentary to Ukrinform.
"We expect that the dynamics of industrial production will improve in the coming months due to the increase in the output of food products, particularly sugar, although a growing comparative base in other fields will restrain growth. The index of industrial production for the year should be close to our recent forecast of 2.0% (previously it was expected at 3.5%), if there are no recurrent temporary disruptions, like in June," she said.
