Kyiv authorities promise to repair 200 km of roads in 2016

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said this when checking the quality of repaired roads in Kyiv, the press service of Kyiv City State Administration reports.

"We have invested huge amount [of funds] into the repairs of roads in Kyiv - UAH 1.1 billion.  We work 24 hours a day. This year we will repair 200 km of roads in Kyiv. This is 14% of general number of roads. This is a very good pace," Klitschko said.

In addition, the mayor stressed that the task of city authorities is to make Kyiv the city where the roads will be of a European quality. He also emphasized that 52 roads will be repaired in the capital this year.
