President Poroshenko: FTA agreement with Canada has potential for expansion

Ukraine and Canada will continue negotiations to expand the effect of the free trade area agreement signed today as both countries have a huge potential for the development of international cooperation.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said this at a joint press conference with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"I would like to emphasize that we do not stop at this [signing of the FTA agreement with Canada]. We will continue negotiations in order to expand the effect of this agreement... We have a huge potential for the development of international cooperation," Poroshenko said.
"We have discussed today that Canadian business also pays particular attention to the agricultural sector, the field of IT procurement and other areas," the President added.
