PM Groysman: Kyiv Bortnychy sewage plant modernization project will be completed in near future

Implementation of the project for the reconstruction of the Bortnychy sewage plant is planned for the near future, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has made a statement during his meeting with Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine Shigeki Sumi.
"It is an extraordinary project for Kyiv and adjacent districts residents, complex environmental project, and Japan’s contribution is of great importance," said Groysman.
He said that Japan has committed about $1 billion for the project.
The Premier also noted that Ukraine is interested in expanding of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Japan, "we are prepared to host representatives of the Japanese businesses in Ukraine."
Meanwhile, Shigeki said that the Bortnychy sewage plant reconstruction project will be successfully completed.
