Ambassador comments on results of Canadian-Ukrainian Business Forum

Canadian-Ukrainian Business Forum, which took place last week in Toronto, was able to achieve both economic and political goals set out by the organizers.
Ukrainian Ambassador to Canada Roman Vashchuk said this to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"We met for at least three purposes, all of them were achieved. Firstly, it was a clear political signal of support for Ukraine, and a visit of the Prime Minister and his statement proved this," Vashchuk said.
According to him, the forum also allowed to draw attention of the Canadian business community to the economic potential of Ukraine.
According to Ukrainian Ambassador, the forum also allowed the businessmen of both countries to hold direct negotiations with each other.
