NBU expects to get $1 bln tranche from IMF soon

The National Bank of Ukraine hopes that the IMF's Executive Board will meet in July and the first tranche for the country will amount to $1 billion.
NBU Governor Valeria Gontareva said this at a press conference on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"We expect the meeting of the IMF Executive Board to be held in July. I cannot name a specific date as it has not been announced yet. We also expect to get a tranche worth USD 1 billion in the near future," Gontareva said.
