The World Bank appoints new country director for Ukraine

The World Bank has appointed Satu Kahkonen new Country Director for Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova. She will assume office on July 25.
The press service of the World Bank confirmed this information to Ukrinform.
“Yes, that’s true, she [Satu Kahkonen] will take office on July 25,” the bank’s press service said.
Also, according to the bank’s press service, Qimiao Fan, who had been holding the position since February 2012, has been appointed World Bank Country Director for Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal.
