The Ukrainian Government plans to attract one of the European banks to manage the supervisory board of the Ukrainian Energy Efficiently Fund.

Vice Prime Minister, Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Utilities Minister Hennadiy Zubko said this at a press conference in Ukrinform.

“We’re attracting our partners to the Fund’s supervisory board. We believe that one of the European banks will be chosen to manage such a supervisory board, as at present we work on all international programs, where EBRD and other [banks] are in charge of management process,” Zubko said.

According to him, such a step is needed so as to not only attract funds, but also to rapidly implement reforms.
