Ukrainian Prime Minister is confident of receiving a further installment of aid worth $1.7 billion from the International Monetary Fund.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said this in an interview with Reuters.

"Groysman told Reuters he was confident of receiving a further installment of aid worth $1.7 billion from the International Monetary Fund, which is contingent on implementing reforms," the article reads.

In addition, the Ukrainian PM announced the meeting with representatives of the International Monetary Fund in Washington in mid-June.

As reported, the United States provided $1 billion loan guarantee to Ukraine. The loan guarantee agreement is part of the bilateral and multilateral economic support for Ukraine, which includes a four-year extended arrangement under the IMF’s Extended Fund Facility and provides for an increase in assistance for the Ukrainian economic reforms.
