Tax police will be abolished in Ukraine by the end of 2016.

First Deputy Prime Minister - Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv announced this in the TV program "Freedom of Speech" on ICTV, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"And the first thing we’ll do: the tax police will be abolished by the end of this year," the First Deputy Prime Minister said.

Kubiv stressed that the best control is when "a person, businessman contacts the officials as least as possible."

In his view, this can be achieved through an integrated IT system, which, according to the minister, "is already being implemented" and will be unified so that "a person could, without going to the tax authority, submit a tax return, receive a request, submit reports and communicate, respectively, with the inspector through IT."
