Canadian investors are interested in increasing investments in infrastructure projects located in Ukrainian sea ports, airports and railway sector.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Ukraine Roman Waschuk stated this during the 2016 Ukrainian Infrastructure Forum, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“I see the interest of Canadian investors in increasing investments in Ukrainian infrastructure projects. They include projects in Ukrainian sea ports, airports, railway sector, namely engine assembly and renewal of rolling stock of Ukrainian railways,” Roman Waschuk said.

A reminder that the Canadian machine manufacturing company Bombardier and the largest international engineering concern Siemens announced in December 2015 they are ready to invest in Ukrainian companies that will manufacture railway equipment.
