Gazprom contests Antimonopoly Committee’s fine

Gazprom has contested the decision of Ukraine’s Antimonopoly Committee to fine Russian gas monopoly UAH 86 billion for the abuse of monopoly position in the Ukrainian natural gas transit market.

The information about registration of the case was posted on the website “Judicial Power of Ukraine.”

The lawsuit was filed by Gazprom with the Kyiv Commercial Court on April 12, 2016.

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine is the defendant in the case. PJSC Ukrtransgaz and NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine are the third parties to the trial.
