The Bloc of Petro Poroshenko (BPP) faction suggests creating a parliamentary working group on drafting the laws to deoffshorize the Ukrainian economy.
This was stated by BPP faction leader Yuri Lutsenko during the conciliation council meeting in the Parliament, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Our faction believes that the Parliament should respond to the worldwide scandal with the stolen money on the offshore accounts which has nothing to do with the President but which, nevertheless, may concern other Ukrainian politicians and businessmen. We suggest creating a working group to draft the legislation that will allow to deoffshorize the Ukrainian economy. This working group should be set up and given a two-month term for the Parliament to be able to pass the necessary amendments already this year so that the next budget would be full," Lutsenko said.
