Ukrtelecom begins large-scale modernization – company’s director

JSC Ukrtelecom in 2016 launches the process of company’s technical infrastructure modernization, which is to be completed within the next three years.
Ukrtelecom Director Yuriy Kurmaz said this in an interview with Ukraine’s Novoe Vremya online publication.
“This year we have started a large-scale modernization process of Ukrtelecom’s technical infrastructure. The first results will be already seen by the end of this year. The program is designed for three years. Over this period, we will upgrade the access network in most cities and towns,” he said.
According to him, the company signed a loan agreement with China’s development bank to provide this technological modernization with financial resources.
"We’ve chosen a strategic partner that will carry out technological upgrading of our equipment, this is Huawei Company,” Kurmaz added.
