NBU refutes reports on Gontareva resignation

Chairperson of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Valeria Gontareva has not submitted a letter of resignation.
The NBU press service told an Ukrinform correspondent.
“The information that Chairperson of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeria Gontareva yesterday evening or today morning has written a letter of resignation are not true,” the NBU press service reports.
As a reminder, today there have been reports in the mass media with a reference to a source that the NBU head has signed a letter of resignation because of an “offshore scandal”.
