Social standards to be gradually raised from May 1 – Rozenko

Social Policy Minister Pavlo Rozenko has stated that social standards will be gradually raised in Ukraine starting from May 1.
The minister said this at a government sitting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Social standards will be gradually raised starting from May 1, 2016. Salaries will be increased within 2016 in two stages. For the employable population they will be raised by 5.2 %… From May 1, salaries of budget sphere employees will be also increased,” Rozenko said.
He also reminded that on May 1 a part of the law regarding salaries of government employees would come into effect.
