UniCredit Ukraine raises capital by UAH 3.8 bln

The general meeting of UniCredit Bank Ukraine shareholders has approved the first recapitalization tranche worth UAH 3.8 billion. 

A relevant report was posted on the bank’s Facebook page.

“We’re becoming stronger. The shareholders’ general meeting has approved the first recapitalization tranche worth UAH 3.8 billion,” reads the report.

As a reminder, on February 26, 2016, the National Bank of Ukraine agreed the UniCredit Bank recapitalization plan. According to the agreed plan, the bank is obliged to increase its capital by UAH 10.645 billion with the first tranche worth UAH 3.793, which it to be carried out by April 1.
