Beer production in Ukraine decreased by 1.5% since beginning of this year – Ukrpyvo

For the first two months of 2016 the volume of beer production in Ukraine fell by 1.5% or to 18.2 million decaliters compared to the same period of last year.
This has been reported by Ukrainian beer, soft drinks and mineral water production company "Ukrpyvo”.
"The expert assessment of the volume of beer production in Ukraine (except for non-alcoholic beer and beer with an alcohol content of less than 0.5% and the volume in the Republic of Crimea) for two months of 2016 amounted to 18.2 million decaliters or 98.5% over the same period in 2015 year," reads the statement.
At the same time, for the first two months of this year the export of beer amounted to USD 1.55 million and the import - USD 2.9 million.
