NBU: Ukraine’s international reserves grew to $13.5 bln

The international reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) expanded by 1.8%, or $238 million over January-February, to $13.538 billion. At present they cover 3.4 months of imports.

This is stated in a press release issued by the NBU.

“According to the preliminary information, the international reserves of Ukraine as of March 1, 2016 totaled $13.538 billion. Over the first two months, the amount of reserves expanded by 1.8%, or $238 million. The reserves increased by 2.4 times, compared with February 2015,” reads a report.
